Immunodermatology


This mainly focuses on diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases which are caused by low immune response.  It helps in diagnosing and treatment of diseases affecting skin, mucous membranes, gastrointestinal and respiratory tract. This testing is generally done on blood and tissues. The testing reports help us to know about




  1. To interpret how external factors effects the skin immune system


  2. In interpreting the response of immune system during normal and diseased state


  3. Vaccine production by skin during diseased conditions.



This testing also helps to decrease the activity of few autoimmune reactions by applying the antigens to the skin.
